RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE

Supervision and Management
Directing day-to-day activities in the produce and floral department to guarantee seamless operations and adherence to set standards. Leading a team by providing guidance, training, and support to achieve goals and maintain high-quality standards in product handling, stocking, and customer service.
Sales Performance Targets
Executing company strategies to boost sales, overseeing merchandising, and implementing company promotional activities to increase product visibility and customer engagement. Striving for specific sales growth targets compared to the previous year.
Inventory Management
Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, optimizing stock rotation, and ensuring freshness while minimizing waste. Striving for specific gross profit objectives to maintain profitability and meet financial targets. Ensuring produce quality meets established standards by implementing quality control measures and addressing any issues promptly.
Compliance and Safety
Adhering to safety protocols and regulations, overseeing sanitation practices, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Communication and Planning
Regularly communicate with the Store Director concerning truck schedules and department employee schedules across various locations. Crafting an efficient weekly plan tailored to the business's realities and aligned with the specific needs of each store's responsibilities to ensure effective operations.
Reporting Structure
Immediate Supervisor: Currently reporting to the Produce and Floral Supervisor. A collaborative reporting structure involving the District Manager and Store Directors of the stores is essential for effectively managing the assigned responsibilities.
Mileage Disclaimer
The company does not cover mileage expenses from your house. Your home store will be 6012 and the company will pay a millage rate from store to store within the designated area of Jackson, Mississippi.

Mandatory Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience managing a produce department.
Preferred Experience
Demonstrated expertise in computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Proficiency in email communication.
